Dr Yusuf Sherwani holds dual degrees in Medicine and Business Management from the Imperial College School of Medicine and Imperial College Business School respectively and is the Co-Founder & COM at Digital Therapeutics which created 'Quit Genius', a gamified behavioural therapy app to help smokers quit. Together with his co-founders, Maroof Ahmed and Yusuf Sherwani, they put on hold their clinical careers to pursue Quit Genius full-time. The company has raised nearly $2 million in seed funding from Village Global VC, Pioneer Fund, Arab Angel VC and various angel investors. Previously, he exited a social networking startup aged 14 and has co-authored 10 peer-reviewed medical publications. He has also been awarded a Clinical Entrepreneur Fellowship by NHS England. All three founders are 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe honorees in the Social Entrepreneurs category.
