Edtech pioneer Sal Khan of the Khan Academy to speak at CogX
Visionary Edtech pioneer Sal Khan, Founder of The Khan Academy, will explore the future of education on the virtual CogX 2020 stage between 8th – 10 June 2020. Khan has been at the forefront of the education revolution ever since he founded the globally renowned Khan Academy in 2008. To date, Khan Academy has amassed over 100 million registered users in over 190 countries, and its free learning software includes classroom tools for teachers and immediate feedback for students. The Khan Academy was predicated on the simple idea that any student anywhere in the world should be able to access a world-class education.
Well before the COVID-19 crisis arrived, Sal Khan foresaw an opportunity to democratise education by integrating technology into the world of learning. For this ingenious vision, he has earned accolades and praise around the globe and, in 2012, TIME named him one of the most influential people in the world.
A pioneering educator and entrepreneur, who better to explore the question, how will students adapt to the “new normal” and how can we all use a time like this to reimagine the world of education.
