Fintech startup Gocardless raises $22.5m in funding
Fintech Startup Gocardless today (19th September 2017) announced they have secured $22.5m in funding, with Accel, Balderton Capital, Notion and Passion participating in the round.
Hiroki Takeuchi, CEO and founder, said: “As more and more businesses become international, they face endless frustrations in managing payments across multiple territories.
“What we have engineered is a way to simply plug recurring payments into their existing systems, across the world, so they can focus on the challenges that really matter.”
The funding comes after a period of strong growth for the firm, who have processed over $4B worth of transactions across more than 30,000 organisations in the UK and Europe.
