HRH The Duke of York at the Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2017 launch

HRH The Duke of York, who established the Pitch@Palace entrepreneurship competition to help tech businesses scale-up globally, marked the launch of the official list of the Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2017. The Duke presented the Chairman’s Award to Professor Shafi Ahmed who was recognised for his Outstanding Contribution to HealthTech. Launched on 6th June 6th 2017 by Diversity UK in association with the Ethnic Minority Foundation (EMF), KPMG and NewAsianPost.com and hosted at the KPMG offices at 20 Grosvenor Street, Mayfair, London, the list showcases the wealth of talent that is currently growing the British tech scene.  The list highlights the UK’s diverse talent; from startup founders, technologists, venture capitalists and investors; to the game changers and digital influencers in business  and social enterprise.

The Judges

The purpose of this list is to showcase the diversity and vibrancy of the tech sector and Asians who work within it.
