Tech Nation has announced that three its innovative growth programmes; Applied AI 2.0, Fintech 3.0 and the Net Zero 1.0, are open for applications. Suited for companies developing carbon combatting tech, a scaleup revolutionising money or an AI company delivering a solution that solves problems in the real world, the growth programmes help founders achieve their potential.
Net Zero 1.0
Criteria for application
- Tech that supports a more sustainable future
- Minimum Seed funding/generating annual revenues below £1.5m
- One active client or pilot
Technology has the potential to reduce global emissions by 15%. Suitable Greentech, Cleantech or Ecotech businesses, Net Zero 1.0 aims to be line with the UK Government’s Net Zero 2050 law. Tech Nation are looking for digital and hardware companies which operate across key sectors including electricity & energy, transport & mobility, agriculture, food systems, manufacturing and building technology. Companies may directly contribute to net zero, with emission-reducing and carbon capture technologies or may contribute indirectly by changing consumer behaviour, or increasing efficiencies.

FinTech 3.0
Criteria for application
- A digital tech business with a Fintech or Insurtech product or service to sell
- Minimum Seed funding/generating annual revenues below £1.5m
- One active client or pilot
The programme is tailor-made to support founders and the wider leadership team for UK fintechs. It consists of insights sessions delivered by some of the most established fintech entrepreneurs, investors and partners. The goal is to cover topics such as sales, partnerships with incumbents, expanding internationally and to give companies and founders the tools and knowledge they need to scale. The programme lasts for six months and includes a 24-hour induction, a series of in-depth learning sessions, networking events with key stakeholders and a three-day international showcase trip. The FinTech 3.0 is suitable for businesses revolutionising money or insurance with tech.
Applied AI 2.0

- A digital tech business with a AI as the core driver of value in the product
- Minimum Seed funding/generating annual revenues below £1.5m
- One active client or pilot
Tech Nation’s first growth programme for Artificial Intelligence to help the UK’s most promising founders who are applying AI in practical areas and to create real-world impact. The programme is based on peer-to-peer support and the shared experience of later-stage founders, all curated under the values of honesty, intimacy and trust.
