Wayra UK & Novartis re-launch Health Hub 2020
Wayra UK & Novartis have relaunched the Health Hub 2020 to focus on digital health solutions that will support the NHS to deal with the medium to long term challenges created by COVID-19. Health Hub is a unique partnership between Wayra UK (Telefonica’s Open Innovation Hub) and Novartis UK (one of the largest pharmaceutical companies, whose products reach more than 800 million people) and has previously accelerated startups like Quit Genius, Hospify, Baobab Circle and others.
Health Hub 2020 is co-designed with the NHS to empower and enable HealthTech start-ups to accelerate innovative solutions to address the new challenges to the healthcare sector. The whole operating model of the NHS has been transformed, and years of digital transformation is taking place in a matter of days. Today and in the near future, the NHS will rely more than ever before on digital health solutions to ensure wherever clinically and practically possible, patients can access, and should access, healthcare through digital means. The time is now for Health Hub 2020 to seek companies who are able to accelerate and scale digital health solutions that will support the NHS to deal with the medium to long term challenges created by COVID-19.
